Oh, What a Night

Don’t miss a glittering evening of fun and musical memories as The Muses & Patroness Circle of McCallum Theatre host their major annual fundraiser, Oh, What a Night, on Sunday, November 14 from 5pm – 9pm at the Westin Mission Hills in Rancho Mirage.

The Muses hosted one of the last pre-pandemic soirees (Viva La Havana) and are thrilled to be back again to host one of the first major fundraisers of the long-awaited new social season.  All proceeds go to support the programs of McCallum Theatre Education which, during the pandemic, served over 31,000 students virtually through innovative and life-changing arts education workshops and performances.

Oh, What a Night will be an evening of celebration that starts with a cocktail reception that will include a performance by the Killer Dueling Pianos, as well as caricature artists, a photo booth, signature cocktails and more.  Then, guests will move into the main ballroom to enjoy a sumptuous dinner, live auction and dancing by The Boys of D63 who will entertain the crowd with the music we all grew up with from the 1960s and 1970s.

Single tickets are $375.  Sponsorships are available for as little as $1,250 and come with an invitation to a very special Sponsor Party, on Monday, November 8, from 5pm – 7pm in the McCallum Theatre lobby and forecourt.  This will be the first event at the Theatre since the McCallum was closed in March, 2020 due to the pandemic.  The Sponsor Party is presented through the generosity of Linda Rider and Barbara Rogers.

Proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test within 72 hours will be required for entry to both events.

Your support of Oh, What a Night will make it possible for the McCallum Theatre Education program to continue to share the joy and discovery of the arts with thousands of Valley schoolchildren.  Just one $375 ticket to “Oh, What a Night” underwrites a classroom partnership with McCallum Theatre Education.

We also have Opportunity Tickets available to win a stunning 10-carat diamond bracelet, worth $20,000, thanks to the generosity of El Paseo Jewelers.  Tickets are $100 each or 4 for $500.  A $100 Opportunity Ticket provides a workshop for an entire classroom with a McCallum Theatre Teaching Artist. To purchase Opportunity Tickets, please contact Co-Chair, Diane Dykema at (310) 404-5689.
