24th Street Theatre

With great respect for the human power of imagination, 24th Street Theatre’s director Debbie Devine has created a highly stylized and masterful version of The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane that makes a straight line to the heart. Edward Tulane  - a porcelain rabbit - must learn the meaning of love: what it is to love, what it is to lose that love and how to find the courage to love again. Adapted for the stage by Dwayne Hartford from the award-winning novel by Kate DiCamillo, the play runs 85 minutes and can be watched in two sittings. Reading the book makes for an excellent classroom companion project.

“A full-balanced meal of theater for young minds.”
