It is my pleasure to introduce you to the 2011 – 2012 season at the McCallum Theatre. We’ve been listening to you, our patrons, to find out what you like best at the McCallum.  And the answer is Broadway musicals.  We have another great lineup for this season including a lavish production of South Pacific, the return of the immensely popular Mamma Mia! and a new musical about which I am very excited, In The Heights.  Winner of the 2008 Tony Award for Best Musical, In The Heights tells the universal story of a vibrant community in Manhattan's Washington Heights – a place where the coffee from the corner bodega is light and sweet, the windows are always open, and the breeze carries the rhythm of three generations of music. If you liked Fiddler on The Roof, you will love In The Heights.

We want our Broadway offerings at the McCallum Theatre to be as affordable as possible, so we’ve started a new series, Broadway on a Budget.  For as little as $100, you can see four great shows: the Off-Broadway hit The Marvelous Wonderettes, the classic 1950s musical Grease, the brassy Tony Award winner Blast! and the sizzling Burn the Floor.

You’ve also told us that you enjoy speakers on topics ranging from culinary adventures to the glory days of Hollywood. Join us for fascinating presentations by Hollywood legend Shirley MacLaine, radio and television legend Larry King and Top Chef’s top judge Tom Colicchio.

Added to this is our long-running Fitz’s Jazz Café series, Jeffrey Siegel’s Keyboard Conversations®, comedy with Jonathan Winters, Lily Tomlin and Kathy Griffin and shows ranging from Country to Folk to Opera, Ballet, Popular Song and everything in between.  There is truly something for everyone at the McCallum Theatre.

When you purchase through a broker or secondary market seller, you cannot be assured that your seats will be correct, exchangeable or purchased at face value.  Be sure to bookmark our web site www.mccallumtheatre.com.  There are a lot of websites out there that look similar to the McCallum Theatre website, but are actually ticket brokers.  Only the McCallum Theatre website will give you the latest information and authentic tickets.
